Pi Chi Omega Celebrates Jeff O’Neill’s Retirement and Career in Pest Management

After more than 4 decades of dedicated service to the pest management industry, Pi Chi Omega proudly celebrates the retirement of Jeff O’Neill, a long-time member, industry leader, and friend, from his role as Northeast Regional Manager with Central Life Sciences (formerly Sandoz/Wellmark International and Zoecon).

Jeff’s career has spanned 45 years, most of which he spent helping pest management professionals across the Northeast succeed through education, technical support, and strong partnerships. From West Virginia to Maine, Jeff was known not only for his expertise in mosquito control and professional pest management but for the genuine relationships he built throughout his territory and the industry at large.

A Career Full of Impact
Jeff began his journey with Central Life Sciences in 1989, joining the Zoëcon Professional Products division where he quickly established himself as a trusted advisor and respected sales leader. His talents earned him Central’s inaugural Star Performer award in 2012, honoring more than a decade of exceptional performance and contributions.

He was also a dedicated supporter of industry development. Jeff lent his time and energy to groups like the Delaware Pest Control Association, where he served as chair for the annual PCO Short Course, and he could often be found mentoring professionals new to the field or supporting continuing education events.

As a valued member of Pi Chi Omega for more than 37 years, Jeff embodied the spirit of giving back. His commitment to knowledge-sharing, professional growth, and supporting others made him a natural fit within our organization. He understood the power of connection and the importance of elevating the industry for the next generation.

A Legacy of Leadership
Jeff’s influence reaches far beyond his job title. Whether it was introducing innovative mosquito control tools, guiding municipal and commercial pest programs, or simply sharing his insights one-on-one, Jeff built a legacy grounded in excellence and generosity. His leadership was recognized earlier this year when the New Jersey Mosquito Control Association honored his 35 years of service with a heartfelt tribute.
